Helping People Grow in Prayer, Faith, and the Word
Meet Valerie
For nearly three decades, Valerie Sneed has devoted her ministry to helping people develop a deeper relationship with God through prayer and the Word of God.
Her calling has taken many forms—teaching, speaking, radio, conferences, prayer gatherings, personal ministry, and biblical instruction—but the heart behind it has remained consistent: helping people move beyond simply knowing about God to experiencing the transforming power of a life lived in communion with Him.
Valerie is a gifted Bible teacher and communicator known for making spiritual truths practical and accessible. Whether speaking to a congregation, teaching a class, sitting behind a radio microphone, or ministering personally to someone in need, she encourages people to develop an active faith—one rooted in Scripture and strengthened through prayer.
Prayer has been a defining thread throughout Valerie’s ministry.
In 1996, Valerie received what she describes as a clear commission from God: “Teach My people to pray.” That calling would profoundly shape the direction of her life and ministry.
One significant expression of that calling has been Valerie’s longtime work with Prayers Heard in Heaven, a prayer ministry through which she has helped teach, encourage, and mobilize believers in prayer and intercession. Her years of leadership and ministry through the organization have provided opportunities to pray with people facing real needs, teach biblical principles of prayer, and encourage believers to develop their own consistent prayer lives.
But Valerie’s ministry extends beyond any single organization or program.
Through Valerie Sneed Ministries, she brings decades of ministry experience into speaking engagements, biblical teaching, media, and resources designed to equip people in their own walk with God.
A Life Devoted to Prayer
Beyond the Church Walls
Valerie has also carried her message into broadcast media through radio and podcasting, reaching listeners with biblical teaching on prayer, faith, spiritual growth, and everyday Christian living.
Her work on Prayers Heard in Heaven has included a longstanding radio presence on Houston’s 100.7 FM The Word (KKHT) as well as hundreds of podcast episodes, allowing conversations that began in prayer rooms and churches to reach people in their homes, cars, workplaces, and everyday lives.
For Valerie, media is simply another opportunity to teach.
The setting may change—a church, conference, classroom, microphone, or one-on-one conversation—but the purpose remains the same: to help people know God, understand His Word, and discover the power of prayer for themselves.
Valerie Sneed Ministries
Today, Valerie Sneed Ministries brings these different expressions of her calling together.
Through speaking, teaching, media, courses, ministry resources, and personal encouragement, Valerie continues to equip believers to pursue a deeper relationship with God and live out their faith with confidence.
After decades of ministry, her message remains remarkably simple:
Know God. Know His Word. Learn to pray. And live like Heaven hears you.
